Garrett uses steel inside to support ball bearing operates, but this kind of design has a flaw, after a long term use, ball bearing cage's gap become bigger, then the steel can't help anymore, the turbo lost the power of what it original can produce and will be very risky to fail.
Based on this flaw, we put a spring instead, when the gap become bigger, spring will extend and support the ball bearing work at the right place, this improves the normal ball bearing problem.
What's more, it's not just an ordinary spring, it has to reach our technical requests, and after testing several kinds of spring, we finally found one USA made spring that is very perfect for our ball bearing turbo.
